Yes! We are all affected by this unprecedented Pandemic. Helping each other is the best way to support them. My only requirement is to justify why your business is being affected by the Pandemic. Some companies may take advantage of it, so I will give a discount to those deserving and struggling financially.

Yes! I prefer the design-related projects in any industry and scale. But no social media graphics work as of the moment.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, sometimes, if the project requires. I admire people and companies who appreciate work-life balance.

Yes, if it's local and around within Metro Manila area. If offshore, the client must shoulder the travel and lodging expenses.

What if I want to refer clients, do you give commission?

Yes. I can give a commission or percentage of sales in every closed deal. The rate depends on the project.

Where are you more comfortable, hourly, or project-based?

Both. The type of engagement depends on the project. I'm open to discussing the appropriate arrangement.

How do you spell your domain? Design Never Done or Design Ever Done?

People keep asking me how I spell out my domain name. My answer is both. It depends on your perception—two birds in one stone. However, the phrase derived from Luke Wroblewski, Product Director at Google.

Yes, I'm open to discuss.

Who is RBG Designs?

RBG is a personal brand and derived from my full name. It sounds like RBG (Red, Blue, Green), that's why I like it.

Yes, I offer consulting services. Either on-demand, short-term, or long-term engagement. 

Do you offer a coaching/mentorship type of service?

Yes. The rate depends on the engagement and size of the team.

Yes. High-level consultation and project-related only.

Do you offer discount?

Yes. I offer a discount on design services, especially if you are a registered NGO, a non-profit organization, charitable, advocacy group, and religious institutions. Specify in the email if you belong to those items that I mentioned earlier, and provide supporting documents to cross-check and validate the qualifications.

What are your requirements before starting the project?

For a design project, a creative or project brief will do. Alternatively, I will be going to involve in crafting the project brief then will be part of the consultation activity.

Do you provide any contract?

Yes, I provide a project contract, or the client can provide.

Are you okay comfortable with signing an NDA?

NDA is welcome - it's part of the SOP. Half of my projects are still on NDA.

Are you okay in joining in the bidding process?

Yes, sending a proposal to bid is okay. Though I still need to study and evaluate the project. But I still prefer direct contacts and referrals. Projects through an agencies is also welcome.

Do you accept the design project with coding requirements?

Yes. I can help you to execute or implement the design if there will be a requirement.

Are you willing to sign a non-compete agreement?

It depends because these days are challenging times to get or book a client, restricting/prohibiting the designer from getting another client will impact their financial status unless you can assure ongoing projects. I'm more comfortable if the effect of a non-compete agreement is until the project engagement ends.

What is your machine setup?

I used a full spec for an iMac 27" with 64GB physical memory & 8GB video card memory - so it's an Apple system. I can also test my designs in mobile, tablet, and laptop when necessary.

Do you have internet at home/workplace?

Yes. I have a stable internet at home. My internet bandwidth speed usually between 8 - 24mbps.

What is your main design tool?

I often used the Sketch app and Figma for digital product design and Adobe CC suite for other graphic designs. But as an agnostic designer, I am open to use or explore other tools when necessary. I had experience in using Invision app, Framer, UXPIN, and Affinity.

What communication tools you are using?

Any communication tool is okay. I had experiece using Zoom, Google Hangouts, Microsoft Teams, Goto Meeting, Bluejeans, Messenger, Viber, Whatsapp, Line, Telegram, and Slack Video.

Do you require a downpayment before the project starts?

Yes. Downpayment is required.

What is the payment scheme?

The payment scheme can be customized depending on the project and timeline.

Ex: 30% as downpayment, 40 upon delivery of the first milestone, and 30% upon completion. Or 50% downpayment and 50% upon completion.

What are your payment methods?

PayPal, preferably if it's an offshore project. I have Transferwise and Payoneer account too. Also, I accept money and bank transfer if this will be the client option. I'm open to discuss payment methods when necessary.

Bank transfer, pickup, or cheques for the local projects.

Do you accept bitcoin or any cryptocurencies?

Cryptocurrencies are welcome as a mode of payment. But, I prefer Bitcoin and other mainstream cryptocurrencies.
